Wildfox Resorts welcomes Stantec UK to the delivery team

Wildfox Resorts Group confirms the appointment of Stantec UK Ltd as part of the wider Afan Valley resort delivery team.


Stantec, working from Cardiff and Bristol, will provide local knowledge and regional support. National senior experience required on a project of this complexity and magnitude will also be provided. Stantec are responsible for Planning, Transport, Environmental, and specialist engineering services. Stantec Cardiff are also providing Landscape design services working closely with the architects to develop the masterplan and economic, funding and delivery advice to ensure the success of this significant investment.


Stantec’s multi-disciplinary team is led by Jane Hirst, Planning Director, supported by key staff and department heads including Sam Harper, Planning Director, Martin Dix, Director of Buildings, Scott Witchalls, Director of Transport & Infrastructure, Richard Smith, Senior Associate, Transport, Mark Roberts, Director Economics, John Haxworth, Landscape Director and Jamie Glossop, Associate Ecologist. They are ably supported by a multi-disciplinary team of specialist consultants who are well versed in delivering large scale projects of a transformational nature and working in partnership with local authorities and Welsh Government.


Stantec is committed to supporting a strong and sustainable local economy, through the development of supply chain opportunities. With this as a priority, the team is being led from its Cardiff office with plans to scale the team locally to reflect Stantec’s commitment to South Wales and the Welsh economy as a key part of its commitment to its clients and their projects. Stantec already has developed relationships with a range of educational establishments, including Cardiff and Swansea Universities and this project provides opportunities to build on those.
