Wildfox Resorts Group confirms the appointment of Keystone Environmental Limited as part of the wider Afan Valley resort delivery team. Afan Valley is the first of three new adventure resorts in the UK.
Keystone Environmental Ltd are responsible for initial site management and compound construction, creation and management of habitat and ecological management.
Keystone Environmental Ltd are led by Managing Director Joe Bradshaw, overseeing respective departmental leads from within Keystone’s Contracting and Consultancy divisions. Head of Habitats Josh Willis, and Rob Frith, Associate Ecologist take responsibility for organisation and delivery of site-based activities.
Josh has worked in ecological contracting for over 12 years building within that time a wealth of experience in the creation and management of a variety of habitats. His unrivalled ability to manage logistically challenging and complex sites has been pivotal following Keystones appointment as the schescheme'sst Principal Contractor.
Rob has 15 years’ experience in ecological consultancy, with particular expertise in large scale species translocation and biodiversity survey, mitigation and monitoring.
Keystone are based in Cardiff and South Gloucestershire and have mobilised a large resource to undertake a variety of works to date. The appointed task has seen a vast array of plant and materials utilised on site, wherever possible sourcing suppliers and sub-contractors from the site locality and South Wales, in keeping with the schemes key drivers to benefit the surrounding community and economy. A number of the locally sourced sub-contractors are recent university graduates benefitting from newly created roles in the area and upskilling through on-the-job training, providing key foothold into the consultancy sector.
